Full Moon at 5+ Virgo/Pisces

Land ahoy! Focus your telescope upon the misty horizon as you begin to smell the land that is soon to come into view. This earthy Virgo Moon draws our attention to the ground of practical daily activity. Our bodies may feel a bit wobbly as we navigate the current cosmic seas, riding high incoming waves with our sea legs.

A Full Moon always involves the Sun in polarity. Mercury and Saturn sandwich this Sun in Pisces with a strong dose of information input, as strong Neptunian waves of liquid light wash through our solar system, often veiling the landscape and our sense of reality. Coming down to it, our reality right now is our physical vehicle that calls for attention to daily rhythms that are fluid and changing. The Full Moon forms a grand trine in earth signs with wise, substantial Jupiter Taurus and cereal goddess Ceres in Capricorn, calling attention to the basics of body and sustenance.

AQUARIAN PARADE
The larger landscape is emotionally spacious, with the recent parade of personal planets in Aquarius. We climb the lookout pole to get a better perspective of where we are in the bigger picture, as we find ourselves entering a brave new world that feels exciting, perplexing and downright daunting at times.

Venus and Mars joined together, seeking an emotional harmony with an Aquarian quality of friendship and 'Bring Me a Higher Love'. Breathe it in. The square with Jupiter in Taurus challenges us to embody this quality of higher love awareness.

Chariklo, wife of Chiron, with her two halo-like rings, is currently the last stop in the Aquarian ride.  At 14 Aquarius. She has a sweet, radiant, healing containment of the energies, an all-inclusive witnessing and holding of our experience.

CHIRON/NORTH NODE
CHiron, meanwhile, has been conjunct the North Node at 16+ Aries since the Aquarian New Moon Year of the Golden Dragon began. The past two weeks of the waxing Moon have featured this initiatory dynamic, pushing and pulling us into new pathways— whether we like it or not!  CHiron tends to evoke symptoms in the body to let us know where we are out of alignment with ourselves, where there is unhealed 'static' in spirit, mental, emotional or physical levels. We are sweeping out so much 'debris' from the past that we can't take with us into this new era. Have you the call and the courage to meet this challenge, to walk into the fresh new world?

This is an exclamation point conjunction, another foreshadowing of the power of the April 8 Total Solar Eclipse. Chiron is precise to the minute infused into that Eclipse at 19 Aries 24.  Chiron was at 19 Aries last summer when it turned retrograde, already ping-pointing that momentous April moment. To prepare for this upcoming Eclipse, live as fully present in the NOW as you can be.

SEASONAL SHIFT
Our weather here in Vermont is allowing more sunshine, wavering between intimations of spring and freezing, gray-white, snow-filled sky fields, along with irregular, slippery, mud-rutted roads. Daily vigilance is necessary to get through the day. The Nature is signaling a seasonal change as well as a much larger cosmic season of great proportion and altered experience. Wild weather across the planet impacts our way forward into new and unprecedented territory in our collective experience. This Virgo Full Moon calls for daily attention to circumstances around which to design our movement and our priorities. Usual routines and lifestyles are up for questioning. A new contextural perspective opens. Watch and listen to Nature's suggestions, seen in the quality of light radiating from Sun and stars, heard in bird song, felt in the wind that sways the trees.

With Black Moon in Virgo, we can use not only our five basic senses, but myriad subtle senses that are awakening from dormancy, inattention, lack of use, and even suppression. We are not typically educated on this level, except by Nature herself. This Full Moon alerts us, invites us into our innate earthy intelligence as we engage with the intelligence of Earth on full display in nuanced and more obvious ways. This Full Moon features a Lilith 'Flash Point', as the two positions of Black Moon, based on mean and true measurements of its movement, align at 16 Virgo 04 for a short 6 minutes at 3:41-3:47pm EST. If you can, pay attention and see what you perceive at that time in relation to nuances in Nature. Such an alignment may signal a subtle activation from deep within our essential soul source.

The main feature of this Full Moon is the grand trine in earth signs, calling for grounding. Jupiter, especially, wants to bring the higher mind emotional (Venus/Mars) intelligence of the Aquarian stellium into our embodied experience.

In the Full Moon chart we can see how the Moon will be moving into Black Moon, arriving about 20 hours after fullness. [The Moon moves 1 degree in about 2 hours.] The physical temples of our souls are needing fine-tuning, finer frequency fresh foods and water.  The salt water sea in our bodies appreciate the vitality provided by high quality salt in the fluids we drink in.
