Seriously Sirius New Moon in Cancer
July 5, 2024 at 3:57pm PDT, 6:57pm EDT, 11:57pm BST, July 6, 8:57am AEST
For this Cosmic Inspiration News edition, I am sharing the Cancer New Moon video I made with Honey Golden this week. I feel it is a good summary of some major themes of this July 5 New Moon. This is a busy week around the world, notably in the U.S.A., as July 4 is the celebration of the Declaration of Independence, signed 248 years ago. Pluto has an orbit of 248 years around the Sun, and that Nation’s first Pluto return is concluding in the next few months as Pluto finishes its last weeks in Capricorn and moves fully into Aquarius, and a new Era, on November 19, 2024.
This New Moon augurs a new cycle on many levels, influenced by a close zodiacal alignment with Sirius, the brightest star we see, and quite close to our own Sun. There is much esoteric lore around Sirius, more than we talked about. If you are intrigued and feel a kinship with this brightest of stars, follow its brilliant path of rainbow light into some research, finding some threads of personal meaning for you.
For myself, this Cancer New Moon is right on my own Moon and I am feeling it!
I have been away on the Maine coast, taking a needed beach and boating break on the tidal flow. Back to writing for the Full Moon on July 21.
I hope you enjoy our discussion of this seriously Sirius New Moon!.

We also talk about the juicy, volatile Mars/Uranus/Algol conjunction on July 15. If you have not listened to the Looking into the Eye of Medusa interview on Light Always Wins podcast posted previously, there you will find more about this upcoming, impactful conjunction.
